Zakaria Gaal has been with the firm since 1999. He works closely with the attorneys as a paralegal in the areas of personal injury and family law. Zakaria hails from Mogadishu, Somalia, and came to the United States as an exchange student at Boston University. He was an attorney in Somalia from 1985 to 1990. He is fluent in English and Somali and proficient in Italian.

Community Involvement
Zakaria is regarded as an influential member of the community. His integrity, approachability and professionalism have been invaluable in assisting Somali and other immigrant people to feel welcome, resettled and informed of their legal rights. Zakaria volunteers with the Rochester Public Schools and has been honored as one of six Great Global Citizens of Rochester in the Post-Bulletin series “Passport to Rochester.”
