Lori L. Nelson

Lori L. Nelson is an associate attorney at Klampe Law Firm. She joined the firm in 2025.

Lori graduated law school in 2014 and is admitted to the bar in Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska. Lori currently focuses on family law but has a wide variety of legal experience including civil litigation, criminal defense, appeals, estate planning, and probate.

During law school Lori sought out classes and experiences in Alternate Dispute Resolution and excelled in that area. She was a member of the competitive mediation team and received recognition as an outstanding student in both negotiation and mediation classes.

Lori has represented clients in courtrooms in Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska. Her appearances included criminal jury trials, bench trials, mediations, and administrative hearings.

Lori moved to Rochester in 2023. Law is a second career for Lori, who taught public school orchestra in Iowa for 17 year. She enjoys gardening and community theatre.
