JoMarie Leth Morris is a partner at Klampe Law Firm and has been with the firm since 1996. Her practice focus is cases involving all types of accidents, injuries and death as well as immigration cases in the areas of naturalization, family based immigration and visa extensions. She also handles cases involving deceptive insurance and investment practices and physical abuse and neglect of the elderly and disabled.
JoMarie has lived in the area of Southern Minnesota her entire life. She worked for the Mayo Clinic for ten years after high school and then embarked on her studies at Winona State University in 1990. During her senior year at Winona State she worked at the Capitol as a legislative intern to Minnesota Senator Steven Morse. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Paralegal Studies in 1993. She attended William Mitchell College of Law, graduating with honors in 1996. During law school, JoMarie was an associate editor of the William Mitchell Law Review and published “A Survey of Important Constitutional Law Decisions of the Minnesota Supreme Court: 1994-1995.” She also worked as a law clerk at the firm of Campbell and Knutson in Eagan, Minnesota, gaining experience in all types of civil and criminal matters.
JoMarie regularly volunteers within the law as a pro bono attorney with Legal Assistance of Olmsted County and Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services. She is also an adjunct professor at Winona State University where she teaches Ethics and Introduction to Paralegalism.
