Anne M. Dennison

Anne’s primary trial practice focus is assisting injured workers with work injury insurance disputes. She also has extensive experience in personal injury matters involving automobile, truck, motorcycle and bicycle accidents, animal attacks, and professional malpractice. Anne also practices immigration law representing individuals and their families who are seeking naturalization and permanent residence in the United States.

Prior to coming to Rochester, Anne served as an administrative law judge with the workers’ compensation division of Iowa Work Force Development. Anne adjudicated employee and employer disputes involving work injuries throughout the State of Iowa.

Anne attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. After embarking on a professional career in the legal arena, she returned to school and earned a graduate certificate in paralegal studies at Roosevelt University in Chicago. She returned to academia attending The John Marshall Law School full-time while she worked full-time as a paralegal at a prominent Chicago personal injury law firm. She was selected as staff editor on The John Marshall Law Review and competed in mock trial tournaments. Anne has also studied international law in Greece in an immersion program with Tulane Law School as well as studied law at the Inns of Court in Dublin, Ireland.

Anne began her litigation practice with Galligan, Tully, Doyle & Reid, a well-known Iowa personal injury law firm. She represented injured individuals and families in personal injury, medical negligence and product liability matters involving catastrophic injuries, birth trauma and loss of life.

Anne is active in her local community and sits on the executive boards of Legal Assistance of Olmsted County and the Olmsted County Bar Association.  She is also a member of the Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS) Pro Bono immigration project that provides assistance to lawful permanent residents seeking US citizenship.

Anne’s interests include traveling, long distance running and reading historical fiction.
